Poker Games Available
For limit hold ‘em Pokertime offers games from $0.05/$0.10 to $150/$300, with the highest populated limit usually being in the $5/$10 range. No limit hold ‘em is a bit more interesting. While Poker Time has categories in their lobby for no limit games all the way up to $200/$400, there were no tables at that limit and the limit immediately below when checked. The highest populated game was in the $20/$40 range. In addition, Poker Time offers the following poker variants: Omaha, Omaha/8, 5 card draw, 7 card stud and 5 card stud. One other interesting point to note is that Poker Time offers no limit stud games, something that is not common amongst a lot of poker websites.

Software
A unique part of the Poker Time software is the additional prompt players receive upon installing it. They have an additional piece of software (a messaging toolbar) that they prompt players to install, primarily as a means of allowing them to directly communicate with players. Installation of the toolbar is optional and there is no difference between installing and not installing the toolbar.
The table offers a 2-dimensional direct overhead perspective and the Poker Time colour scheme works very well together. There is also the ability to shift back and forth between two tables at the touch of a button, although the elongated table window (due to a large chat column to the right of the table) can get in the way of convenient multi-table play. Another drawback of the software is that statistics tracking only appears to be available for games with a board (i.e. Hold ‘em and Omaha), with games like 7 card stud not supporting the viewing of session statistics.

Poker Time offers a 100% match bonus, up to a maximum of $200. Since the bonus is a match bonus, it does require a qualifying deposit, which in the case of Poker Time is any initial deposit greater than $20. The bonus is good for up to 90 days from the date of deposit and is released in one lump sum upon the collection of 7 poker points for every $1 of bonus money (poker points are explained in the next section). Players that do not fulfil these guidelines within the 90 day period will not receive any bonus amount.
Loyalty Programs
The loyalty program at Poker Time is called the Poker Players Club and the base unit of currency is the poker point. Poker points are earned in cash games for playing in raked hands and are earned at a rate of anywhere from 0.05 to 2.0 points per hand depending on the betting structure and the limit that the raked hand takes place at. Additionally, players earn 2.5 poker points for every $1 they spend in tournament fees.
